Short Message Service (SMS) Policy

No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates.
1. Purpose of This Policy

Caryze uses SMS (text messaging) to provide convenient and timely communication with our customers and partners. This policy explains how we collect consent, what types of messages we send, and how customers can manage their preferences with U.S. laws such as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and other applicable privacy regulations.

 

2. Scope

This policy applies to all SMS communications sent by Caryze, including:

 

  • Appointment confirmations, reminders, and status updates.

  • Service-related conversations, questions, estimates, and approvals.

  • Customer care and support messages.

  • Review requests.

  • Promotional or marketing messages (only with express consent).

We use SMS for:

 

  • Service Updates – Appointment confirmations, reminders, vehicle ready notifications, and follow-up care instructions.

  • Estimates & Approvals – Quick questions or requests for service authorizations.

  • Order & Delivery Notifications – Updates on parts, PPF film, or product availability.

  • Customer Support – Responses to service inquiries or scheduling changes.

  • Promotions & Events (only if you’ve opted-in) – Special offers, seasonal service packages, or event invitations.

  • Review Requests – Friendly follow-ups asking for Google reviews after service completion.

4. Consent Requirements (Opt-In Requirement)
  • Transactional and service-related messages: By providing your mobile number when booking a service or requesting information, you agree to receive transactional SMS relevant to your vehicle or appointment.

  • Promotional and marketing messages: These require express written consent. We will always present clear opt-in language (e.g., a checkbox or signed agreement) before sending such messages.

  • Conversational messages: If a customer initiates contact via SMS, their consent is implied for that conversation only.

5. Consent Records
  • Caryze maintains records of opt-ins (electronic or paper-based) for verification.

  • Consent records are retained for the duration of the messaging relationship, plus at least six (6) months, and may be stored longer if required by law.

6. Opt-Out Process
  • Customers may stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP”.

  • Upon receiving a STOP request, Caryze will immediately cease all SMS communications to that number, except where legally required (e.g., security alerts).

  • Customers may reply “HELP” to receive assistance and contact information.

  • After opting out, customers may re-subscribe at any time by providing renewed consent.

7. Frequency of Messages
  • Transactional/service messages: Sent as needed (e.g., appointment reminders, job completion updates).​

  • Marketing/promotions: Maximum of 4 per month for those opted-in.​

  • No messages will be sent between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM local time unless requested by the customer.

 

8. Data Security & Privacy
  • Customer mobile numbers are stored securely in our CRM and scheduling systems.​

  • SMS content will never include sensitive financial information (e.g., credit card details).​

  • Any personal data collected is used solely for the purpose for which it was provided, per our Privacy Policy.

  • Caryze does not use purchased or third-party contact lists.

  • We avoid using unbranded or unfamiliar link shorteners in SMS links.

  • Sending is limited to reasonable volumes per number, ensuring compliance with carrier delivery guidelines.

9. Costs & Carrier Disclaimer
  • Caryze does not charge for sending SMS messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard text messaging and data rates may apply.​

  • We are not responsible for delays or failures in message delivery caused by carriers or technical issues.

10. Compliance

Caryze complies with all applicable telecommunications and consumer protection laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and adheres to carrier and industry standards

  • All SMS communications comply with the TCPA and the CAN-SPAM Act where applicable.​

  • Staff are trained on customer consent requirements and message content restrictions.
